Caramel Chocolate Brownies

14 oz. Bag 5 oz. Can 2/3 cup 3/4 cup 6 ounces 1 box

Wrapped Caramels (Kraft or Bracs) Evaporated Milk, divided Margarine or Butter, melted Finely Chopped Walnuts Milk Chocolate Chips Chocolate Cake Mix

Melt caramels and 1/4 cup of the evaporated milk in a saucepan over low heat, or in the microwave on high for 1 to 2 minutes at a time, stirring at each interval.
Mix dry cake mix, remaining evaporated milk, melted margarine, and nuts together in a bowl. Spread half the mixture in a lightly greased 13" x 9" x 2" pan. Bake at 35F for 6 minutes. Remove from oven.
Spread the chocolate chips evenly over the cake and then pour the melted caramel mixture on top. Drop the remaining batter mixture by teaspoons on top of the caramel.
Return to the oven and continue to bake at 35F for an additional 20 to 25 minutes, until top looks slightly dry.
